Lizette Sanchez is a doctoral student in the Clinical Health Psychology program at the University of Colorado Denver. Lizette earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2020. Following her time at the University, Lizette dedicated her time to publishing research addressing the prevalence of infidelity within Latino subgroups. She also worked as a Registered Behavior Technician providing Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children with Autism. Lizette is a member of Dr. Beth Allen’s Relationship Studies Lab, where she strives to expand on the inclusion of intersectionality within couples and family research, primarily within the Latino population. Her research interests include intimate relationships, extradyadic involvement, and making mental health services more accessible to patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
